Silver business, simplified.
One system for a silver shop’s bills, stock, dues, GST and accounts, designed around how silver is actually sold: by gram, purity and the day’s rate.
The challenge
Silver shops do not sell at a fixed price. Every bill line depends on gross weight, stone weight, purity, wastage, making charges and the day’s silver rate. General-purpose billing tools often require manual workarounds and separate accounting tools. This makes stock reconciliation, GST preparation and tracking rate-linked dues difficult.
What we built
A single web application covering the shop from purchase to sale to the balance sheet.
Weight & purity billing
Gross weight less stone weight gives net weight; net weight multiplied by purity gives fine weight. Supports wastage and fixed, per-gram or percentage making charges.
Old-silver exchange
Adjust exchanged silver against a new bill and handle any excess as a customer advance or refund.
Barcode-tagged pieces
Individual tags, weights and history, with scanning for billing and stock counts.
Daily silver rate
Enter the rate once for billing, stock valuation and rate-linked overdue balances.
Rate-linked dues
Convert applicable overdue balances to silver weight and revalue them at the current rate.
GST support
Place-of-supply-based CGST/SGST or IGST, GSTIN validation, HSN codes, and GSTR-1/GSTR-3B summaries. Supports preparation; does not automatically file returns.
Automatic accounting
Sales, purchases, payments and expenses generate journal entries.
Customer & supplier messaging
Email and WhatsApp Business documents, statements, reminders and supplier payment advice, with message history.
